| I am researching Pickett's and Hollingsworth's of White River Twp. Randolph Co. Indiana. These families arrived in Randolph Co. in the early 1800's from the Carolinas. Pickett's (Piggott) came from Cane Creek Orange Co. NC.Surnames: Piggott, Hadley, Woody, Brown, Harlan, Pearce, Quakers from Cane Creek N.C. Hollingsworth and Massey's from Union District, SC. I would like to find information on William Alfred Pickett, and Mildred Elizabeth Pickett. Brother and sister of Leander Canada Pickett. Children of Alfred Pickett,(killed in the Civil War, 1863)and Elizabeth "Jane" (Hollingsworth) Pickett. Jane remarried William H. Yost, and had at least two more children, Mary E. and Charles. It is thought that William Alfred Pickett may have moved to Colorado. |
