My Quaker ancestors from North Carolina and Indiana

Updated February 2, 2007

I am researchng Quaker Family names of Baldwin from North Carolina and Indiana; They were part of the John Baldwin family in the late 1700's. They migrated to Indiana with many other Quakers and started the settlements near Muncie Indiana; I have first hand information from my father about tis family. The Jenkins family first settled in Maine in the early 1600's as fishermen; became Quakers in the early 1800's and moved to Ohio in 1830. Part of the family came to Kansas and others settled in California; My Stevens ancestors first were heard of in North Carolina then migrated to Indiana and and later Missouri.
I have searched many of the W.W. Hinshaw books now need further evicence of their existence.

Any help will be greatly appreciated and I will share what I have found.
