My primary areas of interest are the Kinard,Stockman,Metts, and Vinson families of South Carolina, Georgia and Mississippi, the Maddux/Powell/Hastings/Harris families of Maryland, Alabama and Mississippi, and the Connally/Gentry/Harvey/Oldham/Martin/Mertin families of Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia and Missouri. However, since these other lines are already so well documented,(and I am still collecting source information on them), I am focusing here on the Kinard, Stockmans, Metts and Vinson families.

Most of the information on these reports I have listed on my pages I have tried to verify at least two ways, in some cases, up to ten. If you need information on a specific source or group of them, contact me and I will try to help you.

Many people helped point me in the right direction with my research or put me in touch with people familiar with family stories or primary and secondary sources. Others confirmed what I already had. Those who have contributed or confirmed information and have web sites of their own are listed in my links section. Please take the time to visit them!

Currently, I am having a terrible time trying to upload the newest information I have from my new version of FTM to this homepage. Please email me with any questions you may have, and I will do my best to answer you.
