Pages For The Medema Family

The Medema family came from Gronigen Holland, his family settledin Iowa and South Dakota. My grandfather John Medema married Johanna Van Ommerem. His older brother Pete Medema married Anna Van Ommeren. This is what we call being double related.

Then my maternal grandmother and grandfather where both born in Ede, Holland. Hendrika deBondt and Ernest John Gertzen met and married in Iowa.

I am also having difficulty searching my husbands family. Although born in Italy; Rocco and Carlita (Antonucci)Chicarilli settled in Raton, New Mexico a mining town,in the early 1900's.
