To all the Butlers and related families,

This is the beginning of the Butler Chronicles. The story begins with the introduction of the family tree. A lot more remains to be told and discovered. I hope that more and more Butlers and related family members will participate and contribute their talents, photos, stories, recipes, etc. to make this more than mere names and dates on a sheet of paper.

Any and all comments, suggestions, and criticisms will be duly noted and appreciated. I hope that all family members will share this with generations to come.

Last but not least, I would like to give special thanks to Dale Butler. Without his copious notes from years of research, none of this would be possible.
