The Chown family from Devon, England

I began to research the Chown family back in 1999, when Steve and I received a copy of the book; The Decendents of Roger Chown and Sarah Thorn. Steve is descended from Roger and Sarah Chown's fourth child, Samuel. Thus began an adventure of research and discovery that has taken us back to Devon, England to visit the home church at Ottery St. Mary, and also has given us the opportunity to communicate with and meet many Chowns around the world.

The descendents of Roger Chown and Sarah Thorn are now living in England, Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa.
