| Hello everyone out there! I have been traceing all sides of my family, Manley, Christian, Taylor and Rooks. I am at the moment concentrating on the Manley Family. At present I know that James Manley, Came out to Australia as a Convict. I also know that he was born in 1817 at Wimborne Minster, Dorset (South Cenrtal) England. He had a sister by the name of Elisa, who married a man by the name of Thomas Eglington. Together the three commited robbery and in the Dorset County Chronical dated 25 July 1833, It is said that Elisa was acquited and that James Manley and Thomas Eglington were found Guilty and James Was recommended to Mercy and that a Death was recorded. If you have been traceing this line and belived that it stoped there it didn't. Both James and Thomas were sent out to Australia on the ship "Hive" If you too are traceing this line I would love to hear from you. Feel free to email me. And I will get back to you as soon as I can. |
