Ancestors of Emma Florence Julson of Dodgeville, Iowa County, Wisconsin.

The Julson surname and spelling became fixed around 1880. Prior to that, from 1860 to 1880, the spelling varied. Emma's grandfather, Tolef Julson Stabekk, came to Wisconsin in 1848, from Rollag, Numedal, Norway. His father, Jul Tollefsen Helle, and mother, Ambjor Kittelsdatter Ulvik, followed in 1853.

This page is devoted to all of Emma's ancestors. One branch has been traced as far back as Tarald Olsen Fulsas of Rollag, who was born circa 1475.
