I am researching my Christner's from Switzerland and Borens of Scotch-Irish decent and connecting families--Wright,Wood,Gilbert,Burkholder,Nicklow,Wheat, any information is welcome. Both families were early settlers in America Boren's middle 1600's Christner's middle 1700's some Christners moved west to Oklahoma and Nebraska others stayed in Pennsylvania and Indiana and Ohio Borens moved to Texas and Colorado and I would be glad to share what I have.
