The Edward A. Christie Family Home Page

My search for family information centers around Colin Christie, my great grandfather, who resided in Kingston, Jamaica during the early 1900s. I'm not certain that his first name was Colin, it may have been "Collins". His son, Albert P. Christie migrated to the United States and settled in Chicago, Illinois where he married my grandmother Laura Chisley in 1912.

Albert and Laura produced the following children who were all born in Chicago:
Edward Arlington Christie, Violet Christie, Wilbur Anthony Christie (my father) and Winifred Christie.

I was told that Colin was Scottish and owned land in Jamica with his wife Julia (last name unknown). My goal is to eventually trace my great grandfather's blood line to his Scottish ancestors and find other related Christies.

Any assistance in my pursuit of information for Colin or Julia would be greatly appreciated, and shared as needed.
