I am currently looking for information on:
Smith - Thomas, b 1819, Blackpool, Lan, Eng son of William Smith (farmer) & unknown woman and thought to have been reared on a farm at or near a place named "Thornton Hall", near the River Wyer where he watched construction of the "Hope" on which he emigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1839.

Hemsworth/Taylor - James Hemsworth, son of Richard and Hannah, b Leeds, Y'shire, Eng and married to Mary Taylor, dau of John and Abeley Taylor, b Wakefield, Y'shire, Eng. With their children they emigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1841, and after the first gold rush settled around Bathurst, NSW.

Horn/Schwab - from the village of Eichel near Wertheim, Baden, Germany came Peter Horn, son of Johann Peter Horn and Dorothea Schwab on "Johann Ceasar"'s maiden voyage to Sydney, Australia in 1852. He setted near Mudgee, NSW. A younger brother, Jacob Horn, emigrated approx 1865 and eventually settled in Winton, Q.
