Barnhart Waggoner and his two sons Anthony & Barnhart came to New York on Feburary 22, 1827 from Alsace region in France. First settling in Deerfield Twp. Oneida Co. New York, then on to Washington Twp. Hardin Co. Ohio, finally coming to Jackson Twp. Jones Co. Iowa. He is said to have fathered 24 children.
