The Christy's of Pittsburgh

This page is the first installment of the history of my Christy ancestors.
My family has lived in the North Hills of Pittsburgh since around the early 1900's, and prior to that, up in Butler county on a farm.
I am searching for the origins of my 3rd great-grandfather, Perry Christy or possibly James Perry Christy born around 1830.
He married Martha Ann Campbell and had 4 children.
This page is dedicated to the memory of my grandfather, Harold James Christy, born 1916, died 1998.
