| I am researching the John David Howard family found in the North Carolina 1850 census. His son Calvin G. Howard fought and died in the Civil War, then his widow remarried and moved his son, John Thomas Howard, and his daughter to Arkansas then Oklahoma. His son was John Oscar Howard (my grandfather) married Sarah Francis Dillon in Indian Territory. |
