He was recruited from Hosick and Schaghticoke; regiment in active service from July 28 to October 1779, May 17 to June 17 1780, October 10 to November 24, 1781. Private under Col Peter Yates John Knickerbacker, and Capt Jacob Yates Company March 4 1780. He is also in Col Lewis Van Woert Regiment
