| I have been tracing the surname HEAT for twenty years and have noted as many references to the surname and its variants that I can, creating a large one named study database.I'm very interested in any information on the name, to persons living or dead anywhere.Variants include HEATE, HEET, HEETE, EAT, EATE, HEATH,HITE.The earliest Heat I have found is a French Huguenot in London who originally came from Paris, France. Other names I am tracing are PELHAM, PURSEY, CORNEY, LODER in Berkshire, WHITE, MARTIN, JOHNSON, MASKELL in London, IBBERTSON, PERRY, GAZZARD in London and Essex, PEET in Nottingham, LENEY, LANGRIDGE, WELLER & SCALES in Sussex & Kent WHITE in Bedfordshire and Berkshire. I will be pleased to share any information about any of the families shown above.Look forward to hearing from you.
