I am researching the Cissner family. It is my under standing that the parents of Edward Cissner came over from the Black Forest area of Germany between 1840 and 1876. Edward was born August 7, 1877. I was told many years ago that some letters were changed in the last name, the first letter being an s, I have went through the logs on ships coming into the United States but have been unable to determine what it was. Edward married Clara Belle Riffle between 1900 and 1905 I am also looking for information for her family.
