I am researching the Loudon, Louden, Lowden and all variations, from Pennsylvania. The earliest is Thomas Loudon who was born in Ireland ( year unknown ) and when a youth settled in Lebanon Co, Pa ( formed from Lancaster and Daulphin Counties in 1812 ) sometime before the Revolution. He was listed in the Annville Twp., Lebanon Co, tax assessment for the year 1800 and is found in the 1810 census in Morris Twp, Huntingdon Co, Pa where he died around June 1812. His wife's name was Catherine but her maiden name is not known or when or where they were married. She is living at the death of her husband. I know from records that he had 5 sons and 2 daughters. There are only two children that I am sure to be Thomas'; William Loudon born 27 June 1792 in Lebanon Co., Pa and Died 2 Jan 1864 in Altoona, Blair Co., Pa and married Sarah Matthews / 2. James Loudon Who was under the age of 14 at the death of his father in 1812 (orphan court records).

I believe there to be three more boys that I know by name Thomas, George and Samuel. They all lived in the Butler County, Pa area, but I have been unable to prove they are related.
