Konkel/Szymanowski/Gatz/Rowe/ Smith/Steigler/ Edwards

I'm researching my family from Germany, Ireland, Poland.
My GG Grandfather Joseph Kunkel(Konkel)DOB March 8,1864, Died March 20, 1932. He came from Germany to New York, about March 1882 on the Ship the General Werder. According to his Death certificate, his fathers name was August Kunkel. Mothers name unknown. Joseph Migrated to Suffolk, Long Island New York. He Married Jessie Mildred Conklin on June 2,1894. They had 4 Children. Ellis Konkel, Dorothy Konkel(Conkel) Theresa Konkel(Conkel) and Mary Elizabeth Konkel. They all lived in Suffolk, Long Island New York.(Riverhhead, Flanders, Southampton, Calverton, Greenport, Sayville.)
Family members said that some of the Kunkels(Konkels) went west. Family Members also said that the Kunkels were Tailors in Germany. Possibly coming from the Weisenbaden area( Not a Known fact). According to Joseph's naturalization papers, he left from Breman Germany to New York in March 1882.
My G Grandparents Joseph Szymanowski and his wife Alexandria Polika came from Poland in 1910 to New York. They came on a ship from Hamburg Germany. They were butchers in Southampton,Long Island New York.
My G grandparents Frank Chester Gatz Sr and his wife Sophie Filla came from Poland in 1904 to New York. They were Farmers.
