Thelma D. Fitzhugh, 88, of Linden passed Jan. 16, 2005 in the Bryan W Whitfield Memorial Hospital

Mrs. Fitzhugh was a former presser with Linden Manufacturing and was the last charter memeber of Providence Baptist church. funeral services were held at providence Baptist Church on Tuesday, jan. 18,2005 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Moore officating. Interment was the providence baptist church cemetery. survivors include a daughter, Pauline(bill) Stephens of linden;son, David (martha) Fitzugh of linden; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Fitzhugh daughters Shirley Dixon and Vilolet Crawford, and son Danny Fitzhugh. Active pall bearers were Brett Hattaway, Rodney Stephens, Craig Stephens, Todd Stephens, Todd Mathis, and Drew Fitzhugh. Honorary pallbearers were member of the progressive sunday school class at providence baptist church
