Grace Bennett (b. April 26, 1726, d. Abt. 1772)

Grace Bennett (daughter of William Bennett, Sr. and Grace Van Cortlant) was born April 26, 1726, and died Abt. 1772. She married Green Hill on March 1738/39 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, son of Richard Hill and Hannah Briggs.

Notes for Grace Bennett:
Grace's parents, William and Grace Bennett, were among the early settlers in what is now Northampton County, NC. The Bennetts were substantial landholders on the north side of Roanoke river.

Grace Hill made her will August 27, 1772 and same was proved at the November Court, 1772, of Bute County. She left her estate to be equally divided among her seven living children. ("Seventeenth Century Isle of Wight")
