Egbert J. B. Blakemore (son of James Bashaw Blakemore and Margaret W. Vaulx Fussell) was born May 17, 1831 in Gibson County, Tennessee, and died April 27, 1918 in Hardeman County, Tennessee. He married Martha E. Hill on Abt. 1853 in Tennessee, daughter of William Hill and Nancy Peebles.
