Obituary quote, Hollywood CA, 4/23/1926: "Kellie was one of Hollywood's pioneer settlers, having built the first home on Hollywood boulevard west of La Brea avenue. He was an old-time railroad man who was responsible for the construction of several hundred miles of tracks for the old Sioux line. He lived for many years at the Hollywood hotel and at his home at 7254 Hollywood Blvd."
