I am researching the Hezekiah Clark descendants from Wabash County, IL. Hezekiah Clark arrived in Wabash County, IL about 1817. I have not been able yet to determine the parents of Hezekiah Clark, but I suspect them to be Hezekiah Ward Clark and Judy Hoyt of NH & VT. Hezekiah Clark is supposed to have been a Captain in the CT. Militia, War of 1812 but I have not been able to find that information. Hezekiah Clark married Elizabeth "Betsey" Tuttle, daughter of Revolutionary Soldier Andrew Tuttle and Elizabeth Beers from New Haven County, CT. Andrew Tuttle moved his family to Wabash County, IL about 1819.

I descend from Hezekiah's son Oliver Perry Clark who was born in Wabash County, IL. He married Julietta Mackrill between 1840 and 1845. I have followed them from Wabash Co., IL, Wayne Co., IL to Greene Co.,AR to Laclede County, Missouri. I find them in Laclede County, IL 1880 census. I have not been able to locate them after 1880. I suspect they moved to Kansas or Oklahoma but not sure yet. I know Augusta Clark married Alfred E. Younger and Florence Annette Clark married (1)James Burris (2) Patrick Lawless.

I have not as yet found the burial place of Oliver Perry and Juliet Clark and some their children. I have not found proof of the parents of Hezekiah Clark. I believe them to be Hezekiah Ward Clark, Revolutionary War Soldier, and Judy Hoyt from Rockingham Co., New Hampshire & Vermont.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
