The Descendents of John J. Higgins and Mary Hall

John J. Higgins b. 1776 in S.C.,d. 18 July 1855 in Habersham Co., GA married Mary Hall b.1784 in TN, d. 21 Oct 1866 in White Co., GA.(An interesting side note about Mary Hall Higgins was that she didn't move to another county when she died;a new county
was formed.) John J. and Mary Hall Higgins left Buncombe Co. N.C. with Mary Anna, Nancy, Malinda, Eliza Jane, Thomas B.,Sarah Sallie, James Madison, John H., Jane Jennie, and Emaline Higgins. They settled in Habersham Co., GA. Then in 1828 Jason was born, then Newton (my gg frandfather), and Clerisse Caroline Higgins.
