Timothy Baldwin (son of Timothy Baldwin and Mary Mappam)¹⁴ was born June 12, 1658 in Milford, New Harven, CT, and died December 8, 1703 in Milford, New Haven, CT¹⁵. He married Mary Beard on Abt. 1680 in Milford, New Haven, CT, daughter of John Beard and Anna Hawley.

Notes for Timothy Baldwin:
In Oct. 1703 the Genreal Court at Hartford appointed Sergeant Timothy Baldwin on of the committee for the regulation of the twonship purchased by the inhabitants of Milford, lying on the Wiatonuck. A patent was just being provided for the town, to be named "New Milford". It began to be settled in 1707.
