* Evan Clark's homepage for Clark, Nelson, Fain, Jennings, etc*

Updated September 6, 2000

Here are the names: Clark,Nelson,Garber,Jennings,Fain,Collins, Olsen, Ingel, Russell
The Clark's settled initially in Gallia County, Ohio. They came
from England. Benjamin migrated to Mercer County, Ohio from
Gallia.

The Olsen's came from Denmark and settled in Kiawa County, Kansas.

The Nelson's settled primarily in North Carolina.

The Fain's were throughout much of the south.

The Collins' I have came to this country and settled in Maryland but subsequently moved to Deleware and Ohio.

The Garbers came originally from France, lived in New York awhile
and then moved to Jasper and Newton Counties in Missouri.

The Jennings I believe are from Oswego County, New York and
subsequently part of them moved to Wisconsin.

Ingel and Russell I'm still tracking down.

I'd give my eye teeth for any information anyone may have on
Edwin Payne Russell. He was born in Vermont or England and
died July 7, 1885. He married Christene Koons in Illinois and
they subsequently moved to Kansas or Iowa or maybe both.

I have substantial information about Clark's, Olsen's, Fain's and
Nelson's. The Clark information is mostly from research that
I've done so it may be new info for some people. The Olsen info
came from my dear Great-Aunt Marie. The Fain and Nelson info
is from folks that preceeded me in the family tree fun.
