I am researching The family of John Maximus Clemmons born about 1922. He came from Putnam County Georgia where he had four brothers named Daniel Clemmons, Issac Clemmons, Jacob Clemmons, and Jonathan Clemmons. His father was Daniel T Clemmons who may have sometimes spelled his last name Clements. John Maximus relocated to the Geneva County and Hartford area of Alabama with his wife Martha Jane Howell. They had children Samuel Archibald Clemmons, John Jasper Clemmons, William Franklin Clemmons, Mary Emily (Sis) Clemmons, and James Matthew Clemmons. I have a good bit of information on the offspring of John Maximus Clemmons and am looking for information on his parents and siblings. John Jasper Clemmons was my great grandfather.
