| Welcome to my family history site. It has taken many years to get to this point. I have traced both my mother's and my father's families back to the 1870's, which is very rare in African-American families. I found out that one of my mother's great grandfathers (Sanon Denwoody) was a free man in 1860. And even though I had already learned this information as a child growing up, it was good to be able to verify the information and get documents to back it up. I am still looking for more information on Thomas (Tom) Sanders and his other children and when I do, my research will be complete. I hope you obtain some useful information from this site.
