My Clements Family history research starts in Somerset, England with John Clements b.1688 and his son Richard b. 1724 who married Ann Rideward b. 1729. Later migration into Wiltshire and then Hampshire followed by reason of the economic climate at the time. Research into my Paternal line has been in progress since 2007 producing linked names of Goddard, Wisdom and Hoare. The direct Maternal line covers the names of Bush, Harris and Manston. All of these originate in the counties stated.
Emigration to the USA,(Hoare),Australia,(Buckett/Wilshire), and New Zealand, (Bush) has been established, but I would much like to gain more detail about my Clements ancestors.In particular, John Clements b.1837 in Glastonbury and the son of Thomas Clements b.1816 and Elizabeth Norris b.c1816. John is supposed to have emigrated to either the USA or Canada. Records are sparse.
