I am looking for Clegg ancestors of Thomas Clegg (1750-1830) from County Down, Ireland. He came to the US with wife, Mary, and sons, James, Samuel, Richard, and Thomas about 1792 landing in Philadelphia. Keziah died at sea, and the oldest, Alexander, stayed in Ireland. Also, looking for Greiners, ancestors of John and Catherine, who with family landed at Philadelphia, September 30, 1832, who were from Alsace region of France, but were probably German. |
