I am just beginning my geneology research on the Cline's and will do my wife's family on the Strables. My father handed me a three-page paper on the "(Kline) - Cline - Klingensmith" family which tells about my great-great-great-great-grandfather, Henry Kline. Quote, ..."history of the family begins in 1804 when Henry Kline and his wife, Catherine Klingensmith, came "over the mountains" and settled near what is now Leechburg, Pennsylvania." I am the Indiana branch of the family, descendent of Barnabus Cline and will continue my search on Henry and his ancestors as well as the Strables or (Stroebel)from Germany. |
