I am currently researching the Jacob Cline family of Berkeley County, Virginia. Jacob, Sr. married Sarah Booth, a daughter of Caleb Booth. Sarah's mother is unknown. Jacob Sr. died about 1825 in Virginia and Sarah died in Greene County, Ohio about 1840. Their son Jacob was born in 1792, Berkeley County, Virginia(West Virginia). He married Abigail Wilson, daughter of Stephen and Abigail Booth Wilson in 1820 in Berkeley County, Virginia. Jacob and Abigail settled in Greene County, Ohio, in April 1827. He died in August 1865 in Greene County. Abigail died in September 1878 in Greene County, Ohio. Their son Stephen Cline (see photo below) is my ancestor who married Hannah Abigail Burr, daughter of David Burr and Louisa Oxley. Other names researching are Booth,Copsey,Blessing,Burris,Jones and Lee. Will exchange information. |
