Geoffrey Cliff of Smethwick, England

Researching Cliff families, especially those originating in Castle Donington, Leicestershire/Marston-upon-Dove, Derbyshire in about 1610 and moving to the Birmingham area in 1860. I have so far built up a database of over 15,000 names and established several family trees back to about 1550. My research has led me to investigate Cliff familiies in most other parts of the country includind Yorks, Salop, Notts, Lincs, Cheshire, Staffs, Lancs, Warks, Cornwall etc. and I would be happy to share information with other Cliff researchers.

I would particularly like to hear from anyone who has established connections to any branches of Cliff families, especially any individuals who may have emigrated.
