My parents and siblings migrated from West Gorton, Manchester, England to Australia in March 1954, sailing on the maiden voyage of the S S Orsova from Tilbury Docks to Fremantle, West Australia. We continued on by boat and train to the Migrant Hostel in Rockhampton, Qld, Australia.

I am keen to hear from anyone who may be interested in my family history. So far I have discovered I have ancestors who came from Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cornwall and Devon.
