My mother was a devout genealogist and I inherited both her work and her interest in it. When you view the tree you will see that I have worked every line that I have come upon and this has led to a database of over 8000 individuals and some interesting and unexpected connections. I have found and contacted 2nd cousins and have benefitted from their work. I am always happy to hear from cousins and exchange information. I have documentation for much of the CLINE, MILLER, and BRILES lines. Some of the more interesting historical connections I have found are:

15th Great Grandfather, King James I of Scotland

19th Great Grandfather, Robert The Bruce, King of Scots (1306-1329) Defeated King Edward II of England at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314 and acheived Scottish independence.

28th Great Grandfather, King William I "The Conqueror" of England
