The Graves Gathering

Before I get started, I would like to thank ALL who have helped me over the course of the last year and a half. When I finally publish the pages on this site, you will all be aware of who you are. Thank my mother for being patient, waiting for the day when I would take an active part in our family record keeping. Thank my Sister,Paula; children and friends for their understanding in my "research psychosis"!(lol) My main areas of family research:GRAVES(Thms.(CAPT.)thru his son John,VA);RECTOR (Jesse Hitt,MO line)and JAMES,Lt.Thomas of Spotsylvania,VA. To name a few associated lines:GLASCOCK,STROTHER,COLEMAN,CLIFTON,CHILES,WHEELER,BRUCE, ROBINSON,etc... Areas of Migration:VA>KY>Red River Valley>MO>CA.

In addition, I am research my Dad's Family of Clifton/Williams/Slagley of Oklahoma,Arkansas,MO,NC...Would like to give a special thanks to Pat Weaver, for making the connection for my Dad to his family roots...after 30 years! To Fleta Aday, for her help with the Williams line in Stone Co., MO. and to Jerry Orr and his wife for sharing your knowledge, helping me make corrections to my Dad's Mom's side-Slagley.
