The paternal ancestors of Shaun Clifton

Updated September 5, 2000

shaunclifton@lineone.net

I have just started to try and trace my ancestors from my fathers side of my family.
All I know so far is that in the late 19th/early 20th centurys they lived in Rainham, Kent, England.
My Great-Grandfather was called George William(?) Clifton and his son was also George William (b 1898/9).
George jnr was the only boy but had seven sisters.
Both were farm labourers but George jnr ran away to sea after maltreatment by a farmer when he was aged about 14.
The home address then was Pudding lane or road.

I will update this page when I have learned more, be patient, I`m a complete novice.
If You think you can help or think I might be able to help you please E-mail me, thanks,
Shaun Clifton 30 DEC 1999
