| In 1580 Linoel Chute, who was born in Dedham, England, brought his family to Ipswich, Mass. in 1634. It is believed that he was married to Rose Baker, this information has not been confirmed. According to sources that I have been researching in, the only positive date that I have is the birth of Lionel Chute in 1580. Other note worthy information is of the Potter Family of 1741. It is mentioned that the wife of Joseph Potter (August 1741, Worcester, MASS), Zebudah Heydon, has a connection to Anne Boleyn, who was Henery VIII's second wife, who as i discovered, was the mother of Queen Elizabeth I. The Potters were formerly from England, came to Nova Scotia after the American Revolution, as Loyalists to England. The following surnames are included in my Family Tree: Cloney, Bligh, Nanson Chute, Ritchie, Weir Rogers, Potter, Rice |
