| I am searching for any info on George Clouse Sr. prior to 1796. He came to Washington County Tennessee in 1796 but I think he was in Virginia prior to his arrival in Tn. but I have no proof.I am also trying to establish my first link to America and I think it may be Phettiplace Close/Clouse/Cloys/Clause. Phettiplace came to Jamestown Virginia in 1608 aboard the Starr. He was a 15 year old indentured servant. He later had a son William who married Sarah Moore. Both Phettiplace and William were issured land grants in the Jamestown area. This is all I know about them.Any info about the above named persons or any of their family members would be greatly appreciated. |
