Hamon Pecche was the eldest son and heir of the second marriage and is stated to have been one of the favorites of King Henry I. A charter of King Henry I confirms the gift of Cheveley to Ralph Pecche by Roger FitzRichard (of the House of de Clare). Ralph was most likely a paternal brother of the half-blood, the issue of Guillaume Pecche and his first wife Alfwen.
