* The Clonick/Klonick Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

I am searching for information on the KLONICK family who immigrated to the US from Suwalki about 1850. Some family members changed the spelling to CLONICK. Most family members settled in Rochester, NY. Some migrated to Illinois, Wisconsin and Idaho. I am also searching for information on the BLUME family who immigrated from Russia about 1876. The Blumes, Phillip and Hinda, lived in New York City and then moved to Philadelphia before settling in Rochester, NY. About 1880, The CHIAWKOFSKY family, Sam and Fannie, came to the US from Plonsk. Upon arrival at immigration, the name was changed to LEVY and they settled in Buffalo, NY. About the same time the BLOCK family, Sam and Mona, also from Plonsk, came to the US and settled in Buffalo. I wiil gladly reciprocate any information I have.
