Notes for Edmond Britton: In 1830 Edmond and Mary Ann left Ireland and traveled to greenock, Scotland where they boarded a ship named the "crosair" and came to Prince Edward Island. They had two boys with them Edward, 8, and William, 5 years old. March 9, 1837 Edmond leased 37 acres of land in the bedford parish, County of Queens, Township # 36 from Reverand John McDonald from Prince Edward Island.
