Worked for Union Carbide Corporation on Blaine Island at the South Charleston, West Virginia plant. Worked there for about thirty years. Suffered a heart attack while working on the midnight shift. Transported to Thomas Memorial Hospital by ambulance and died there. At time of death, he was living with his wife at 725 Cunningham Street, St. Albans, West Virginia. They owned that property.
