| I'm beginning my search for relatives of the Cody's who lived in the Boston area and are the children of Matthew Cody (1867-1933)of Newfoundland.Matty married Ellen Dawley (1871-1954)also of Newfoundland in 1891 in Somerville, Massachusetts. I need to push back to the Newfoundland roots and beyond. Their ancestry is Irish. I am a grandchild of theirs. It is a very large family. My maternal tree descends from Shirley R. Brown of Maine. Any information will be appreciated and I am eager to share what information I have. |
