Frank Cody's Family Home Page

I have recently became interested in learning where my family line started from and where it entered the United States. My sister has accomplished some but seems to have dropped all her interest. Her stopping point was with a C.H. Cody. His father was either John or James. He had at least one son named William Serrial Cody.
William Serrial Cody had 2 daughters and one son. One son's name was James Alexander Cody and the daughter was Anne Cody. There is some indication that the other daughter's name was "Big Mama Cody".
I Have no other information about dates of birth, marriages, wives or husbands name.
Whataever information is available I will appreciate it. I am almost 70 years old and I never discussed our ancestors with my grandparents on either my morher or father side.I believe that the cody family lived some time in Kentucky or Virginia.
