I am researching the Cvitkovic family from Croatia. Grandparents on father's side emigrated from there around the turn of the century, settling in Cleveland, Ohio. Also, according to family legend, mother's side of the family descended from Robert Barclay, the Quaker Apologist. Have been able to locate these Barclays in Missouri, and before that, in North Carolina, although route taken is still vague, and firm connection to any European (probably either through Scotland or Ireland) relations is still unproven.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.

Maternal grandparents are Kalle Abrahimpoinka Nurisalo and Johanna Lovisa Mattsintytär Lillkåla, from Kalvia, Finland. I have been able to locate some records dating back to the 1600s on this line.
