Muster Roll dated Aug 1, 1775; service for three months, four days;
also order for money in lieu of bounty land endorsed Dec 22, 1775;
also Capt. Samuel Clark's Co., Col. Benjamin Simond's (Berkshire Co.)
Reg't Enlisted Sept 7, 1777, discharged Sept 30, 1777; service 24
days; company marched to Pawlet by order of Maj. Gen. Lincoln for 20
days service from the time of joining at headquarters; also list of
men mustered by Trueman Wheeler, muster master of Berkshire Co. for
the term of 9 months from time of their arrival at Fishkill; Capt.
Clarks Co., Col. Simonds Reg't; age 28 years; stature 5 ft 7 in;
complextion dark; residence Williamstown, arrived at Fishkill 7 June
1778; also list of men returned as received of Johnathan Pownel's
(Berkshire Co.) Regt. enlisted 22 July 1779; discharged 26 Aug, 1779;
service one month and 13 days; travel included at New Haven,
Connecticut,; also Capt. Samuel Clark's Co., Col. Benjamin Simonds
(Berkshire Co.) Regt. enlisted 26 October 1780; discharged 29 Oct.
1780; service 3 days, company marched to Northern frontier by order of
General Fellows on an alarm; service between 1 Oct and 11 Oct, 1781,
14 days; company marched from Berkshire Co. by order of General Stak
on an alarm at Saratoga, also Capt. Thompson J. Skinner's Co., Col.
Asa Barn's Berkshire Co. Reg't, enlisted 1 November 1781; discharged
10 November, 1781, Service 10 days, company marched to Western Fontier
by order of Gen. Stark on an Alarm.
