He married Elizabeth Elkins Easley 01 August 1827 in Amite County, Mississippi, daughter of Robert Easley and Elizabeth Elkins. She was born 1815 in Hickman County, Tennessee, and died 06 September 1844 in Gillsburg, Amite County, Mississippi.

William B. Wall died in June 1856, Amite County, Mississippi. Charles J. Wall, Jr. was administrator, Poline, William, John, Marshall, and Sarah were minors when their father died. Mrs. Sarah Wall was the widow of William B. Wall.

Inventory and appraisement of estate, 08 Novembeer 1856 by J. B. Easley, J. J. Travis and M. F. Wilson.
Personal estate total $1851.00 including cotton, bee hives, etc. (no slaves listed). Petition to the Amite Probate Court Dec. term 1856 by Charles J. Wall, Jr, administrator of the estate of William B. Wall, late of Amite County, deceased. Outstanding debts $2,000.00. Personal assets do not amount to sum adequate to this payment. Petition to sell lands of said intestate situated section 14, township 1, rage 5 east, and in section 24, township 1, range 5 east, section 20 and 32, township 1, range 6 east. On the 8 Nov. 1856 the appraisers set aside a number of items totaling $265.00 with an inventory for Sarah L. WALL widow and relict of said deceased William B. WALL. Petition for final settlement June term 1860.

William B. Wall was a minister. He was lic. and ord. minister of Jerusalem Baptist Church in 1837. He was pastor at Jerusalem 1837-41, 1847-54, 1857-8. Moderator, Miss. River Bapt. Assoc. 1848-54. William was a Baptist minister for 20 years and was born in Beaufort District, SC. He and two of his brothers, Rev. Howell Wall, Jr, and Rev. Lemuel Wall, were well known in the central Florida parishes for their work in the Baptist churches of the region.

Children - Willie, Allie, Walter, Lee Ella, b. 13 Dec 1881. He was on the 1880 census of Houston Co, TX which is where William Benjamin Wall, son of William Bartley Wall, went to from Amite Co.

Was promoted to the office of Lieutn and afterwards for gallant and meritorious conduct in the defense of Fort Pemberton. Here he was painfully wounded by the explosion of his magazine from the fire of th enemy. He was complimented by his commander and promoted to captain of artillery.

Marshall might be the child of Sarah Sevna Gordon Wall instead of Sarah Holden Wall.
