Foster in Abbeville District, South Carolina, daughter of Robert Foster and Hannah Sinclair. She was born 10 March 1775 in probably Abbeville District, South Carolina (Source: Tombstone - month might be May; tombstone said "M".), and died 18 July 1843 in Pike County, Georgia (Source: Tombstone.).

Inferior Court Records, Pike Co, GA:

5 Sept 1831, page 35. Ordered that Mary CRAWFORD be and she is hereby appointed Guardian of Joseph, Vincent, William and Hannah CRAWFORD orphans of Andrew CRAWFORD, late of Abbeville District, South Carolina deceased on her giving bond with approved security in the sum of forty two hundred dollars whereupon she executed the bond as directed by the court and gave for security Andrew and James CRAWFORD and was qualified in terms of the law.

7 May 1838, page 163. Whereas Mary B. CRAWFORD guardian of the minor _____ orphans of Andrew CRAWFORD, Senr deceased late of Abbeville district South Carolina applies to this court for an order of dismission. It is therefore ordered that all persons concerned are hereby required to show cause if any they can why said order for dismission shall not be granted and it is further ordered that this rule be published in some public g_______ for six months previously.
